Source-to-PDF navigation reveals the corresponding rendered location when the selected compiler produced usable SyncTeX information.

PDF to Source

Reverse SyncTeX is an explicit navigation action back to the mapped source location. It should not silently rewrite manuscript text.

Exact output

Use the exact compiled PDF as the final authority for layout. Live or optimistic preview behavior should eventually reconcile with the compile result.
