Local Compile

Local Compile is the browser-first LaTeX compilation path in Learnitive.

Why use it

Use Local Compile when the project can be built with the browser compiler profile and you want source/assets to remain on the local/browser side of the workflow.

Engines and packages

Available engines and packages depend on the certified browser TeX environment for the current release. A project that relies on an unavailable package, font or engine can require the server fallback or Cloud Compile.

Failure handling

Open the compile log, identify the first meaningful error and confirm that every referenced project asset exists. If the error is specifically an environment limitation, switch to the supported server-side path rather than repeatedly changing correct source.

PDF output

Successful output opens in the integrated PDF workspace and can participate in SyncTeX when the compile path provides the required mapping data.
