Live PDF keeps rendered output close to the current LaTeX source without forcing a compile directly into every keystroke.

Quiet period

Learnitive waits for a short editing quiet period before starting background compile work. Newer edits can supersede obsolete work.

Compile path

Live PDF follows the project compile preference, including the current local/server fallback behavior where applicable.

Manual compile

Use manual Compile when you want an immediate explicit build instead of waiting for the Live PDF debounce.

Status

Treat the exact compiled PDF and log as authoritative. The interface should distinguish current output, compiling state and failed output.
