Keyboard Shortcuts

Learnitive follows familiar editor and browser conventions while avoiding shortcuts that the browser or operating system reserves.

Editing

Use your platform shortcuts for undo, redo, copy, paste, select all and search. Editor history is scoped to the current editing surface and file state.

File tabs

Use the visible tab close action for certainty. Where supported, middle-click closes a file tab and Ctrl/Cmd+W closes the active editor tab when Learnitive can safely intercept the command.

Navigation

Use the project file tree, open tabs, documentation navigation and visible project actions instead of depending on hidden shortcuts. This keeps the workspace usable when a browser captures a keyboard combination first.

Terminal

Terminal keyboard behavior follows the shell and terminal emulator. Common shell control sequences therefore remain available inside the terminal rather than being repurposed as editor commands.

Accessibility

Buttons, menus, dialogs, tabs and documentation controls remain keyboard focusable. If a browser prevents a shortcut, use the equivalent visible command.
