Projects & Files

Creating Projects

Learnitive projects always start in Browser storage. You do not choose a storage provider for each project and no account is required for project storage.

Create a project

From Projects, choose New Project, select a language, framework or document type, give the project a name and create it. Learnitive stores the project in Browser/OPFS and assigns a stable local project ID and slug.

Project name and slug

The display name is what you see in Projects. The project slug is the stable lowercase filesystem name. A project named My React Dashboard can use my-react-dashboard. The Browser workspace and synchronized local subfolder use that same slug.

Projects Folder

Choose Projects → Storage → Local Folder to connect one Projects Folder. No login is required. Learnitive synchronizes all existing Browser projects into matching slug-named subfolders and mirrors new projects automatically.

Import, Git, templates and AI

ZIP imports, Git clones, templates, AI Builder projects and Interactive Docs all create the same Browser-first project and automatically participate in Projects Folder synchronization when one is connected.
