Projects & Files
Browser Projects
Every normal Learnitive project uses Browser storage as its working copy. OPFS is used when the browser supports it.
Browser storage is always enabled
Creating and editing a project does not require an account or filesystem permission. A temporarily unavailable Projects Folder never prevents Browser saves.
Durable local recovery
Browser/site data can be cleared. Connect a Projects Folder for a durable filesystem replica. If Browser data is later erased, choose Recover Projects Folder, select the same directory again and Learnitive rebuilds Browser projects from the folder manifests. No login is required.
Automatic synchronization
When a Projects Folder is connected, Learnitive synchronizes Browser changes to the matching local project directory and reconciles external filesystem edits back into Browser storage.
Project directory naming
The synchronized directory name exactly matches the canonical project slug. For example, research-paper is mirrored to <Projects Folder>/research-paper/.
