Account & Plans
Authentication and Account
Learnitive uses authenticated accounts for account features such as collaboration authorization, learning progress, plan entitlements and authenticated runtime services. Local project storage, Projects Folder synchronization and recovery do not require an account.
Use the currently available Google, GitHub or secure email sign-in path when an account feature asks for authentication. Authentication returns you to an allowed Learnitive route after the identity flow completes.
Local projects
Normal Browser projects are not registered as account project inventory. You can create projects, connect a Projects Folder and recover from that folder without signing in.
Collaboration
Joining an invited collaboration requires a signed-in Learnitive account and the authorization required by that online feature. A share link does not bypass collaboration permissions.
Terminal
Authenticated terminal environments are governed by the current plan/runtime policy. Project storage remains local even when an online runtime asks you to sign in.
AI credentials
Do not store BYOK provider keys in project source. Use the AI settings workflow designed for credentials.
Sign out and shared devices
Signing out does not define local project ownership. On shared devices, disconnect any Projects Folder and clear browser-stored project or provider information when appropriate to your privacy needs.
